" On joining Woody's' in the summer of 2003, I soon began to benefit from the coaching. The top class level of coaching has pushed me that extra mile in helping improve my techniques. This has been a boost for my career and clubs have started to take an interest etc. I have
played for the league side, the County and even International and I certainly wold not have got this far without the coaching of Woody;s
Goalkeeping School and Academy"

"I have been at the goalkeeping academy since I was 9 years old. It has improved my all round game by a significant amount through the years, pushing me on from weak keeper with fragile confidence, to a solid keeper who commands his area and brings out consistent performances every game. The range of sessions which are offered are unbelievable, as every session is adapted to the goalkeepers specific need in the academy. The training is relaxed in some senses but serious in other aspects, which makes you feel comfortable in your surroundings but brings out your competitive edge against your fellow keepers. This is the step up you need, if you want to make it as a professional goalkeeper. Without Woody's coaching and the whole general set up of the goalkeeping academy I wouldn't have been at clubs such as Bristol Rovers, Yate Town , Reading and Swindon Town . And I would certainly not be where I am today in confidence and ability."

"Two boy's from Saltford Stars Under 11's attended your course over the half term break, both boy's came back to the club after the course fully keen to show me their new skills. So a big thanks from me to you for all your efforts, both boys are keen to attend further courses if you have any in the pipe line, to further improve their level of keeping. Have to say in the two games we have played since their return, I have seen an improvement in their confidence, shot stopping and command of their area"

"At the Goalkeeping Academy, I have learn't lots more technical aspects that I wouldn't have learn't at other schools. The sessions are enjoyable and fun and competitive at the same time (1v1 league). Also the training is made as realistic to a match as possible. Woody's teaching also helped me to get a trial at Bristol Rovers"

"Being part of the Goalkeeping Academy has really boosted my confidence. I have enjoyed myself as well as learning a lot. I have learnt not just about the physial aspects but the tactical side of goalkeeping. People there are really friendly and easy to get on with. I highly recommend it"

"During my time at Woody's, I've been more positive and confident towards goalkeeping. Every session is unique. I thoroughly enjoy the games as Woody puts them into real match situations. I've just moved up to the senior section and everyone is helpful and encouraging. The only criticism we get is constructive. The 1v1 league gives us something to aim for and tests us on our progress"

"Woody's courses have not only helped my goalkeeping and confidence but have also been alot of fun. Usually as the goalkeeper I'm in the minority, so it was a nice  change to train with other budding goalkeepers. I have now been on two of Woody's courses and can't wait for the third!

Following the last course, in my very next game, I kept my first ever clean sheet! It was a fantastic feeling! "

"Attending the Goalkeeping Academy has really helped me progress as a keeper. Every session is different and you never know what to expect from the next. The Academy is fun, but you also learn some vital keeper skills as well. Not to mention you always train with a bunch of nice and friendly fellow goalkeepers. It's brill!"
